Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, my family went to U. Jeff & A. Carole's.

And surprisingly I didn't take ANY pictures!! Mom took two. One is awful and the other one is great :)

Here is the awful one
Mom was trying to take the picture but the camera wasn't working. So I tried to figure out why it wasn't working and then all of a sudden worked! And that is what we got :)

This one is a lot better!!!

What do ya know...Josie looks good in both of them :)

Mom thought I should get an updated picture of Josie and I for my background on my computer. Cause I have a bunch of pictures together as my background.

Here is the old one. It's from our first trip to Florida in 2009.

This is my background

I like it this way because I can have more than one picture as my background and don't have to keep changing it. The only thing I change is when I get a new picture of myself and someone that is already on it.

A little sunshine on a gloomy day

Today is so gloomy out :( So here's a little sunshine to brighten your day

From our camping trip to Brialee in August

Such a cutie!

So bright!

Definitely reminds of summer...

Winter had better hurry up and come so that it can hurry up and go! I want summer!!!

In with the new

And it's finally here!
Our new bedroom set is now in our room!!!

I got home from school on Thursday and this is what my room looked like:

Then we brought out all the furniture to the breezeway, so my second cousin could come and get it.

Dad used our knew spiffy carpet/upholstery cleaner to clean the carpet.

Wow, this looks really weird...

My desk found a new home in the living room. I think Mom is glad to have it out of there!

And.....here it is! :)

I didn't realize until we had taken all of our stuff out of the dressers/under the bed/under the dressers etc. that we had so much stuff! It was crazy! See?
Carla and I slept downstairs on the futon for two nights.

Absolutely crazy how much junk stuff we have.

When I got home from school on Friday, all the furniture was in the room, just not all set up yet.
After I got home from school on Saturday, the fun began. ;)

Well, for Dad and Evan anyhow...

Just look at that mattress (it came with the set) and how comfy it is. Mom wants to switch, but there is no way that is gonna happen!!

Dun dun dun...
The view from the hallway.

And one from each corner of the room.

The mirror on the dresser is a honker!

My dresser

Carla's dresser (I may use a drawer for some of my stuff) :)

There are just a couple of things that we need to fix. Such as this picture frame.

And the next project...
I'm hoping to use the bookcase in here as shelving cause there wasn't room in the bedroom for it.

And there you have it! Like it?

I'm trying again...

And...it worked!

Here's some pictures from Sunday morning after 'Storm Alfred'

Our clothesline

The tree behind our house

The grill

Evan's chicken shed that he is building. The snow started sliding down and for some reason it stopped. Shortly after I took the picture, we looked out the window and it had dropped.

These branches are not usually on the ground. That means it was heavy snow!

Our cherry tree. I'm surprised that none of the branches broke

Wanna play some basketball?

Or maybe you want to watch instead....

The dogs enjoying the snow
Dozer:

Snickers:

I noticed that my one window was cleaned off so I asked Evan if he had done that. Nope. Kind of weird that it did that...

Our lilac bushes

They usually look like this

Our house on October 30th.

We didn't go anywhere for a while

Peppers anyone? The snow is free :)

Moving on to Sunday afternoon and cleaning the driveway.

Look what Mom got to do on her birthday!

The birthday girl

Our neighbors front yard.

Our candle light dinner. According to Evan it was "romantic" :)

With the flash.

Our source of information during the past 6 days...a battery operated radio

I've got a few more pictures but they are not on the computer yet, so I'll post them another day.
