Memorial Day Parade

On Memorial Day (I know...it was a month ago), we went to watch the Ellington parade. It was pretty good, but then something happened and the Fire Department people all turned around and we never saw them. Here's a few pictures.

FFA Banquet 2012

About a month ago, Mom, Dad, David, & I went to the FFA Banquet with Evan. Since he was an officer, he had to bring someone that helped him in the past year with his SAE. So, Jon & Angie came with us to the supper. Jon didn't know exactly why he was coming, but I'm guessing he figured something was up!

At some point during the evening, the new officers were put in. This past year, Evan was the Treasurer. This year he is the President!

All in all, it was a good night. Evan only has one more year of high school! Then it's on to the real world :)

Friday Night Fun

A couple Friday nights ago I went to dinner at my friends house. When we got there we had to pick a piece of paper out of a bowl. On the paper was written two things: a number and either the letter R or L. Mine was 9 L. So that means I was in group 9 and had to have my left hand tied to 9 R (group 9 right hand).

We had to get our food like this and eat like this! Here's some pictures

The food. We each had to bring something that started with our first or last name initial. I did hotdogs and beans for Heidi Beutel.

Getting food and drink was quite the challenge!

It was interesting and fun and hard at the same time! :)

Carla had Immigration Day at school. They had to dress up like they were an immigrant. Jennie stayed overnight the night before

The suitcase in the picture belonged to my Grandma Phyllis. It has her initials on it.

At school they got a foam hat thing that looks like the statue of liberty.
