Cowgirl Dinner

October 11th, the sisters got together at Sarah's house and we were supposed to dress cowgirlish and bring a friend. I brought my cousin Lydia. I borrowed some of my brother's clothes cause I don't have a whole lot of cowgirl clothes :)

Snickers

Our dog had a run in with a minivan a week ago this past Thursday. Dad and Jay brought her to the vet. She has a few marks from being hit and scraping the road.

At the vet. She stayed overnight Thursday night. She has no movement in her back legs but there is feeling there.

To walk her around we use a towel to make a sling and hold up her back legs

This is how she gets around :) She sits and then scoots herself with her front legs

Friday afternoon we had put her outside in the back. When I left to go to a friends she had scooted herself out to the front of the house. I went over to pet her and then started walking to my car and she followed me onto the driveway and headed back around the house.

Friday morning I was leaving to clean a house and Dad was walking her around the house. She followed me to my car and when I was sitting in my car with the door open, she came right over and acted like she was gonna climb right in.

If she wants to go she's gonna go! ;) The only thing is that she doesn't eat that well, but hopefully that'll change in the future. We are hoping that the movement comes back in her back legs. If it doesn't, we don't know what we are gonna do... :(

Under Construction

This site is currently under construction. ;)

Please ignore the weird nav bar shadow that is displaying. I tried to make it go away but it didn't work. I posted a question in Blogger's forum so we will see what happens!

UPDATE: I got a response and instructions on how to fix it so it's all gone! :)

The Beutels

The weekend of October 5 & 6 Evan was baptized so some of our family from Illinois made the trek out for it. We enjoyed having them around for a little while anyways!

Grandma and Amy

What a cutie!

She loves "puppies" :)

The trip doesn't happen unless they have a picture together ;)

Monday we had a couple people over for breakfast

Can you tell who the most popular was? :)

Busy, busy

And now maybe a little calm :)

The weekend of October 5 & 6 my younger brother was baptized. We had a crazy weekend of family visiting and being at church. Even though it was crazy it was a blessed weekend and I enjoyed spending time with family. David, Grandpa & Grandma, U. Mark & A. Colleen, and Kasi & Amy came out. I have a few pictures from the weekend which I will post at a later date.

This past weekend, my close friend got married. The weekend started off with pictures at 10 AM on Saturday. By 12 PM I was home and trying to work on a paper (didn't get a whole lot done - a nap sounded better since I had a headache). At 4:30 was the wedding dinner and then the singing started at 7:30.

Sunday morning we were at church earlier than normal because my uncle and aunt served lunch. I had my bridesmaid outfit on so I wore an apron and did my best to not get it dirty :)

The wedding service started at 1:00. I was just a tad nervous, since this was my first time being in a wedding, and I had to walk in front of everyone (that's not my favorite thing to do :). Needless to say, the service was very nice and I didn't trip walking out (yay for that!). :)

At the reception, my job (along with the other 3 bridesmaids) was to keep the dessert table stocked. The maid of honor's (the brides sister) job was to be at the guest book. I took over for the last 45 minutes or so, so that the mom-to-be could sit down :)

I was home a little after 7 PM in hopes of finishing my paper (didn't quite finish it :).

The only picture I have of my outfit.
It was a little windy/cold where we took some of the pictures :)

Her dress was the same color as the sash that we wore.

Homework was majorly neglected this weekend so now it's catch up time!
