The Melting Pot

Last night I went with a group of girls to The Melting Pot in Providence for a friend's birthday. We left a little after 3:30 and got to the restaurant around 5. For those of you who don't know what the Melting Pot is, it's a fondue restaruant. You have cheese fondue for appetizer, then a salad, then the oil fondue for the meat, and chocolate fondue for dessert (definitely the best one!).

This was the Yin & Yang dessert fondue. It is dark and white chocolate. Not sure how they get it to stay like that, but it sure tasted good!

This is the Flaming Turtle. They dump something in and then light it on fire. I think the fire part is more for the looks, but it's still cool! :)

Croghan, NY

This past weekend some our Young Group went to Croghan church and served lunch. We left Friday evening and got in around midnight.

On Saturday, I was taking my clothes out of my suitcase and realized I forgot my navy sweater for that evening. It wasn't quite warm enough to just go in short sleeves, so it was a good thing shopping was in the plans for that day! :)
