Our first bulbs...

...and they are alive!

We planted some tulip and crocus bulbs last year before winter.

The tulips are doing good but the crocus are not doing so hot. The chickens scratching around in there probably didn't help!!

They are a little sparse right now, we should probably plant more :)

Don't mind the gorgeous background. The tulips are planted right next to the dirty and rusty basement window :)

I played with the settings on my camera. This is the silhouette setting...came out kind of cool looking. It darkens the background so you can't see the dirty stairs :) 

If anyone reads this and nows how to use a camera, can someone tell me how to get a closeup picture and still have everything else in focus. All my pictures focus on one thing and then everything else is blurred.

Baby Goats

These baby goats are soooo cute!!!

This afternoon we went up to the Morrill's house and saw their baby goats. They were born yesterday. They walk around but are still a little wobbly at times.

Imagine if we could walk a day after we were born!

These goats are Evans and were born December 26, 2008.

Looking back on the winter...

When we had all that snow, you could hardly see Dozer when he walked in the path :)

The day that we got a ton of snow and almost everything was shut down, my mom and siblings and I went for a walk. Here's some pics:

This wreath hung on our breeze-way windows. Looks kind of pretty like that.

This is the sign at the end of the driveway.

Watch out, car coming!!! (he was probably going about 20 mph) The first car we saw on our walk. We probably saw 2 others.

We walked down to Hathaway and then over to Mosley Plains and visited Dave & Heather and Ralph & Tina.

That was fun, we were the only ones that were walking. Wonder why.......

I'm glad we can wait another 7-8 months to do this again :)

Dozer

Evan got Dozer on Christmas Eve 2010. He got him from a girl at school.

These pictures are from the day that we got him.

We drove around and showed him to U. Dale's and U. Doug's.

He doesn't fit like this anymore in the van!

He slept most of the first couple days.
