Illinois Day 1

FINALLY!!!! :)

13 days later...here it is

We left home on March 16th. We flew out of Providence and into Midway in Chicago. Here's some pics from the plane

I tried getting a picture of Mom and Dad on the plane and this is how it went:

After the above picture, Dad, Mom, Jay, and I got our rental car and headed to Eureka. We dropped Jay off at his parents place and then we went to my cousin's house and stayed the night there.

Here's our rental car:

It's a Mazda 2. Funny story...We had gotten our rental car (well not literally we just knew what it was) and then went over to where Grandpa & Grandma were finding out what they were gonna get. We told them we had a Mazda 2. Well, the lady behind the desk heard us say that, so she tells G & G that she can do better and give them a Mazda 3!

We should have traded because we were so squished in this tiny thing. There was four of us plus our luggage. As you can tell, the trunk is pretty tiny. Mom and I sat in the back seat with a piece of luggage because it wouldn't fit!
