Under Construction

This site is currently under construction. ;)

Please ignore the weird nav bar shadow that is displaying. I tried to make it go away but it didn't work. I posted a question in Blogger's forum so we will see what happens!

UPDATE: I got a response and instructions on how to fix it so it's all gone! :)

The Beutels

The weekend of October 5 & 6 Evan was baptized so some of our family from Illinois made the trek out for it. We enjoyed having them around for a little while anyways!

Grandma and Amy

What a cutie!

She loves "puppies" :)

The trip doesn't happen unless they have a picture together ;)

Monday we had a couple people over for breakfast

Can you tell who the most popular was? :)

Busy, busy

And now maybe a little calm :)

The weekend of October 5 & 6 my younger brother was baptized. We had a crazy weekend of family visiting and being at church. Even though it was crazy it was a blessed weekend and I enjoyed spending time with family. David, Grandpa & Grandma, U. Mark & A. Colleen, and Kasi & Amy came out. I have a few pictures from the weekend which I will post at a later date.

This past weekend, my close friend got married. The weekend started off with pictures at 10 AM on Saturday. By 12 PM I was home and trying to work on a paper (didn't get a whole lot done - a nap sounded better since I had a headache). At 4:30 was the wedding dinner and then the singing started at 7:30.

Sunday morning we were at church earlier than normal because my uncle and aunt served lunch. I had my bridesmaid outfit on so I wore an apron and did my best to not get it dirty :)

The wedding service started at 1:00. I was just a tad nervous, since this was my first time being in a wedding, and I had to walk in front of everyone (that's not my favorite thing to do :). Needless to say, the service was very nice and I didn't trip walking out (yay for that!). :)

At the reception, my job (along with the other 3 bridesmaids) was to keep the dessert table stocked. The maid of honor's (the brides sister) job was to be at the guest book. I took over for the last 45 minutes or so, so that the mom-to-be could sit down :)

I was home a little after 7 PM in hopes of finishing my paper (didn't quite finish it :).

The only picture I have of my outfit.
It was a little windy/cold where we took some of the pictures :)

Her dress was the same color as the sash that we wore.

Homework was majorly neglected this weekend so now it's catch up time!

Just a little bit of advertising: this Saturday we are having a tag sale at our house so if you are interested, you can come check out all our good stuff! :)

This past Saturday was the 4 Town Parade & Fair. A. Ruth was out for it so she came with us again. I took the 4 younger Moser kids.

Waiting for the parade

Here it comes!

Shower #1

And no it's not for me :) This was my friends first wedding shower. Kim, Marcy, and I hosted it at Monet's Table.

The food table. The menu was Chicken Salad on Crescents, Veggies & Dip, Fruit Cup, Bugles, Cheddar Sun Chips, and Trail Mix.

The invitations and food signs were designed the same (by me :)

Our colors were teal, black, and white

Playing games
This one was everyone got a clothespin at the beginning of the night. You were not allowed to say two words: Marry/Marriage or Wedding. If you caught someone saying those words you got to take their clothespin. Whoever had the most at the end of the night, won.

Opening gifts

Maid of honor, Amber's sister :)

Another game. Amber put on an apron that had a bunch of stuff clothes-pinned to it. Everyone had a couple minutes to see what was on the apron. Then Amber went back into the kitchen and everyone had to write down what they remembered. The one with the most items written down, won.

Quick remember, remember, remember! ;)

Looking at the scrapbook of pictures from recent to years ago :)

Shower #2 and #3 are all over with. Just one more to go!
